How do I find a property with internet connection?


All of our properties have free WIFI available for the use of our guests.




How can I find out the exact property address?


You can review the approximate address (+/-500 mtrs) on the map on our website. The exact location and floor / door number of the property will be provided to you after the booking confirmation for security purposes. Should you have any questions about the property, simply contact us through the website or send us an email to hello@uniquebcnrentals.com. Where can I find the price for the apartment?


Depending on your travel dates, number of guests, special requests the price of the apartment might change. Please ensure to enter the correct travel dates and number of guests when searching for a property. The result shown as “Total cost” includes the property rental price, all taxes, special discounts (if applicable) and final cleaning service.




What is the advantage of booking an apartment over a hotel?


High-end apartments with more space for less price. While a family of four would need to book two rooms in any hotel, they can stay in a two-bedroom apartment and enjoy their time together in a comfortable setting while living like a local. All our apartments have full service kitchens, so guests have the option of preparing their own meals. Our properties offer amenities (depending on the property you choose) that are either unavailable at hotels or cost more money: city / sea views, pools, games, gym, washer and dryer, dishwasher, etc.




Are your apartments suitable for a business traveler?


All our properties are located in prime locations of Barcelona and provide full comfort for a business traveler. Properties provide all of the following services: wifi access, study area, iron, ironing board, hangers, hair dryer and hygiene products. Our customer service team is available 24/7 to assist you before, during and after your stay. Do you have special rates or properties large enough to accommodate groups of more than 10 people?

How can I book online?


Once you find the apartment that matches your requirements, click “BOOK” to begin the payment process. After entering your personal information, the “NEXT” button will take you to a new page where you can review and introduce the payment details. Upon payment confirmation a reservation confirmation will be sent to you by email providing a booking ID, exact address and detailed arrival instructions. In case of a payment through bank transfer, the confirmation will be sent after the payment is received in our bank account (depending on the origin of the transfer it can take 1-7 days for it to reach our account).




Can I book over the phone or through email?


Yes. Please contact our customer service representative at hello@uniquebcnrentals.com or +34 667 700 456. Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 10am to 7pm for standard inquiries.




What payment methods are available?


To confirm your reservation, the payment can be realized through a card, Paypal or bank transfer. In case of a bank transfer please indicate the reservation number on the transfer order.

All the card payments are directed to a secure banking website where payment is completed and your card details are kept private.





When will I get my booking confirmation?


Booking confirmations are sent automatically once payment has been confirmed, within 24 hours. If 24 hours have passed and you haven’t received a confirmation email, please contact Unique Barcelona rentals at hello@uniquebcnrentals.com or +34 667 700 456.




What if I don’t know my arrival and departure flights / dates, passport number?


Please enter any value in the given space and in the comments section indicate that you’ll provide the correct details at a later date.




Are taxes and final cleaning fees included in the Total Cost.


Depending on your travel dates, number of guests, special requests the price of the apartment might change. Please ensure to enter the correct travel dates and number of guests when searching for a property. The result shown as “Total cost” includes the property rental price, all taxes, special discounts (if applicable) and final cleaning service. The refundable security deposit (listed in property description) is not included and is payable upon check-in.




How do I request an invoice for my reservation?


To request an invoice please include full company details (legal name, tax registration number, fiscal address, contact person) at the time of booking in the comments section. You may also reply to the booking confirmation sent to you by email, requesting an invoice.




Can I cancel or change my reservation?

What are the check-in / check-out hours? Can you be flexible?


Check in time is 2pm and check out time is 11am for our apartments. Should you need an early/late check-in or late check-out please contact our Customer Service team at hello@uniquebcnrentals.com. If we don’t have check-in/check-out on the same day, we are usually flexible and can make arrangements for different time slots. Please note, the following additional fees apply for late check-ins:

From 8pm to 11pm: EUR40.00

From 11pm to 1am: EUR60.00

From 1am to 7am: EUR90.00




How do I coordinate my check-in? Where will I get the keys to the apartment?


A customer service representative will meet you at the property upon your arrival, provide a walk-through of the apartment with explanation of the neighborhood, utilities, public transport, nearest super markets, garbage disposal, recommended restaurants and bars and answer any questions you might have. He/she will also provide the rental agreement to be signed and charge you for the rental deposit (refundable). Please make sure to bring a valid passport and the same credit card used to confirm your reservation.

We ask our guests to call the customer representative when you are about to take taxi/metro/bus to the apartment so that he/she can arrive in the property at the same time to meet you.




What type of contract will I sign at check-in?


The objective of the agreement is to protect both you and the property owner. It is a simple short-term rental contract confirming full payment received and details of the apartment rules (also provided in property description on the web). It also defines the amount of security deposit charged and conditions of refund for the given amount.




What should I do if something breaks in the apartment?


Please contact our customer representatives (hello@uniquebcnrentals.com during weekdays/working hours or +34 667 700 456 for 24/7 emergencies) as soon as possible so that we can promptly resolve the problem.




Are there emergency 24/7 contact numbers available?

When will my security deposit be returned?


Our customer service team will review the apartment within 24h after your departure and contact you directly should there be any damages. In case there are no damages, refund of your security deposit will be realized within 24 hours after your departure. Depending on your country of origin it might take up to 7 days for this refund to become available in your account.




How do I coordinate the check-out?


The check-out time for our apartments is 11am (unless agreed otherwise with our Customer Service representative in advance). Please kindly leave the keys on the table, close the windows, turn off all the electrical appliances when you leave the apartment.




Is there cleaning service available?


For all the short-term rentals (less than 32 days) we provide complimentary cleaning service every 3rd day of your stay for reservations longer than 3 nights.




What other services can I book through you?

Airport transfers: Private black company cars with professional drivers, air conditioning, free wifi, water and baby seat upon request. We have various options including Standard cars, Premium cars or Van, depending on your need.

Babysitter: At a cost of EUR15.00 per hour, we can provide a babysitter to come and take care of your little ones when you are out to explore the city. All the babysitters we contract are professionals with previous experience and studies.

Cleaning service: The apartment will be fully cleaned and prepared for your arrival. However, should you require additional cleaning service, it can be arranged at EUR15.00/per hour rate, minimum of three hours.

Catering service: We work with highly experienced catering service providers in Barcelona and make all the arrangements on your behalf.

Gym passes: In order to satisfy our gym enthusiast guests' needs, we have partnered up with gyms around the city and are able to offer you discounted daily entrances to premium fitness and wellness centres.

Parking: We have parking available at discounted rates for all our guests, depending on the location of your apartment we will guide you towards the nearest parking option.

Private chef: Whether you want to enjoy a romantic private dinner or want to experience local food with family / friends in the comfort of your home, we can arrange a private chef at your apartment.

Restaurant reservations: We can make the restaurant reservations for you at no charge.

Taxi: We can order a taxi to take you to the airport on the day of your check-out at no charge.

Tickets to concerts / football / theatres etc.: We can process these on your behalf and have everything ready for your arrival. We’ll charge the actual price of the ticket + 5% processing fee.
